The TDA Lady Nighthawks Volleyball team were crowned Thunder National Tournament Champions with a big win over Wessington Springs with a (25-22, 19-25, 25-21) victory.
The Nighthawks went 5-0 on the day to bring their record to 21-3. The Nighthawks beat Colome (25-15, 25-19), Centerville (25-18, 25-17), and Marty (25-10, 25-7) and then moved to the bracket to defeat AC/DC (25-21, 20-25, 25-17) before reaching the Championship match.
The Nighthawks play Monday, October 17 against the #11 ranked Class A Platte-Geddes Black Panthers (18-5) at Armour @ 6:30 PM to defend their 7-0 home win record this season.
