Ariene Underhile was honored among the best and brightest from the Class of 2023 in South Dakota being recognized for her academic achievements during her high school career.
On Monday, April 24, 2023 Governor Kristi Noem along with lieutenant governor Larry Rhoden with Associated School Boards of South Dakota (ASBSD) honored students who were in the top 1% of their senior class from the state's Public, Private, and Tribal/BIE schools as part of the 33rd Annual Academic Excellence Recognition event.
Ariene received a certificate, South Dakota pin and the opportunity to meet and have her photo taken with Governor Noem and Lt. Governor Rhoden.
Congratulations Ariene on your amazing honor and best of luck to you as you head off to Dakota Wesleyan University next Fall as she plans to major in Biology.
Also in attendance were her parents Andrew and Nhora Underhile and Superintendent/HS Principal Jeremy Hurd.
